  • Students reach the following learning goals:
    • Describe the effect of megatrends on the world of employment in the 21st century
    • Describe, analyze and critically discuss core processes and functions of Human Resource Management and Leadership
    • Classify and evaluate human resources work from an individual, organizational, local and global perspective
    • Understand and apply the most important methods and tools of Human Resource Management
Course contents
  • Students acquire sound theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in the areas of:
    • Perspectives on Human Resource Management and Strategic Human Resource Management
    • Employee Lifecycle Management
    • Human Resource organization
    • Human Resource processes
    • Demographic change, migration and other global trends
    • Roles and responsibilities of Human Resource Management in a VUCA-Environment
    • Leadership requirements
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
  • The course comprises an interactive mix of lectures, discussions and individual as well as group work.
    We are applying formats which are in use in companies, such as World Café, Nordic Talking, Mentimeter and Workshops.
    We also work with the Miro Board which will be used as a data AND communication platform.
