Chur is the capital of the Swiss canton of Graubünden and lies in the northern part of the canton. It has approximately 35,000 inhabitants.
The Fachhochschule Graubünden University of Applied Sciences was formelrly know as HTW Chur. It has approx. 900 bachelor students and 500 students in executive education. Its tourism degree program is the first international tourism degree program in Switzerland. It's taught in German and English.
