The City

New Delhi is an urban district of Delhi which serves as the capital of India and is seat of the Indian Government. It is the largest commercial city in northern India. New Delhi is home to several historic sites and museums, such as the National Museum, the Rajghat, the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, and the India Gate. It is also renowned for its beautifully landscaped gardens.

The University

Ramanujan College is one of the constituent colleges of University of Delhi. It has approximately 1,700 students studying various bachelor's courses in the disciplines of arts, commerce and science. The college is named after Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920), an Indian mathematician and autodidact.
