International Ambience at MCI

Teaching, learning and researching in an intercultural environment form an integral part of studying at MCI. Students stemming from 50 different countries and lecturers from 35 nations create MCI’s international setting attracting applicants from more than 69 different nations.

Partner universities

MCI provides all its students with the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of its many partner institutions, to obtain a joint or double degree and/or to complete their mandatory internship at an international organization.

Study Internationally

Internationalization forms an integral part of MCI and is reflected in the composition of its lecturers and students, the contents of its study programs, its research and research projects.

Studying at MCI or spending a semester abroad at the Entrepreneurial School® gives you the chance to extend your professional knowledge, as well as to acquire intercultural competences and build an international network.

International Degree-Seeking

International degree-seeking students choosing to complete an entire bachelor’s or master’s program at MCI, study in a perfect culturally-driven location acquiring excellent education and further training.

Exchange - Incoming

International exchange students are students from a partner university who want to spend their semester abroad at MCI. Each year MCI welcomes more than 350 incomings from its extensive partner network. After an official nomination from their home university, students are informed about the application procedure.

Incoming Freemovers

Freemovers are students whose home university does not have an exchange agreement with MCI. They may attend fee-based individual courses for one or two semesters. Applications for the winter term are accepted until May 15. The application deadline for the spring term is November 15.

Exchange - Outgoing

MCI students may spend a semester or a year at one of MCI’s partner universities. The International Relations Office supports students in organizing their stay abroad in order to successfully incorporate their international sojourn into their curriculum.

Double & Joint Degree

Double or Joint Degree Programs offer added value to students’ academic pathway.

In a double degree program two academic degrees are conferred, namely, one from MCI and one from the partner university. In a joint degree program, one academic degree is awarded by a consortium of universities.

The contractual agreements with MCI’s double/joint degree partner universities prescribe the precise structure of the respective double or joint degree program.
