Description

Circular economy" has become the new buzzword, from large corporations to start-ups - everyone seems to be embracing it. But what exactly is it? Participants in this course will develop a solid understanding of the concept of the circular economy, why we need it, what is behind the term and how it works. Beyond the basics, we will focus on circular business models. The transformation of existing business models and the development of new circular models offer significant opportunities, in addition to the environmental imperative of achieving climate neutrality. These range from the realisation of new revenue streams to significant cost savings along the entire value chain. Using a mix of inputs, activities and discussions, this course allows to explore the circular economy and enables participants to start transforming the linear economy into a circular one.
