Having successfully completed this course, the students will be able to:
- understand how the firm's financial statements and key financial ratios can help financial managers assess its overall performance;
- have a solid understanding of basic components of financial planning, investors' expectations and important key metrics;
- understand how companies make financing and investment decisions and how to incorporate risk and uncertainty in these decisions;
- describe leading theories linking risk and return on a stock market (ex. CAPM);
- provide an overview of the current developments in the FinTech sector and cryptocurrency space.
