    Broadening the opportunities for students either moving into international careers or further studies by providing them with an overview of an exciting element of the global financial system. Further equipping students considering careers in banking and banking related fields including consulting.
    Students to comprehend how international banking fits into the global economic system and understand how the components of international banking from regulation to the business of banking works together to ensure the stability of the global financial system. Students would also acquire an appreciation of the need for vigilance on the risk management of banks due to the outsized impact of any bank failure which in many instances not only affect the domestic economy but also internationally.

    This class uses a mixture of lectures, discussions and presentations. This course provides a moderately in-depth introduction to International Banking in practice.

    Students must indicate any sources, tools, or services they used to create (parts of) submissions (e.g., homework, exams, presentations). This extends, among other things, to all sorts of literature references (e.g., journal articles, books), as well as packages of statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and text-generation programs
