Within the course “Entrepreneurship” you will develop various skills and competencies needed to cover, evaluate and realize innovative business ideas. Following a structured hands-on approach, you will de-velop your business concept in small teams from the rough idea into a convincing business plan. At the end of the course, the teams will (i) pitch their business ideas and viable business model, as well as (ii) prepare a business plan. Through your active participation in this course, you will be able to:

    • Discover innovative ideas: identify an unresolved problem and a way to target it.
    • Develop and enrich an idea to a business opportunity: fit your idea to market needs or, in other words, identify the right market for a certain idea.
    • Model your business to be desirable, feasible, and viable, taking into account sustainability and long-term success in the future.
    • Convince with your business concept in the form of a presentation, elevator pitch, and written business plan.

Furthermore, within this course, you will enhance your creativity, project management skills, communi-cation skills, presentation skills, and teamwork.

By incorporating sustainability-related topics into the course "Entrepreneurship", students are motivated and empowered to explore, assess, and design business ideas that are future/long-term oriented and contribute to sustainable development.
