IMPORTANT: Additional information regarding language and small group courses
Dear Students,
In addition to the information provided already, the Austrian Federal Government has decided that all face-to-face classes at Austrian universities must be cancelled from Monday 16 March onwards the latest.
In light of this situation, we kindly request your understanding that all extracurricular foreign language courses offered at the MCI Language Center will be cancelled for the entire summer semester.
Exceptions to this rule are German language courses for incoming students (ECTS credits earned and essential for students concerned). For the German language courses for incoming students, the same rules apply as for all other face-to-face classes i.e. until further notice, no face-to-face classes will take place, and the course lecturers will decide in consultation with the heads of the study programs on alternative forms of teaching (e.g. online courses, distance learning, postponement, etc.).
All other face-to-face classes in small groups can take place until the end of this week, an individual decision of the respective study program when no appropriate alternative can be found (e.g. online course, distance learning, postponement or similar) and there are no specific signs of danger.
