  • Innovation is interpreted as an entrepreneurial challenge. In tourism, new product development processes are influenced by a number of external and internal determinants and students learn how to identify these determinants. The course introduces new product development concepts and the new product and service development process.
    At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:
    1. Understand the strategic product development process
    2. Understand consumer needs in the context of new products in the tourism and hospitality industry
    3. Create a proactive product development system
    4. Manage the post-product development process
