Learning outcomes of the course unit
  • This seminar aims to bring all the knowledge that student have aquired around Gender and Diversity together and reflect on how this can be implemented in the practice of social work.
Course contents
  • Students acquire knowledge in the field Gender/Diversity in order to be able to recognize and reflect social differences in terms of e.g. gender, ethnic background or lifestyle. The acquire the competence to advocate the promotion, achievement and re-establishment of equal opportunities in the field Gender/Diversity. The acquisition of knowledge/competences in the field Gender/Diversity is not only part of the course "Gender/Diversity Training" but also an implicit part of the competences acquired in other courses of this module.

  • The course comprises an interactive mix of lectures, discussions and individual and group work.
