Learning outcomes of the course unit
  • Students will deepen their understanding of basic and advanced statistical methods and get an overview on data structures and data formats commonly used in bioinformatics and biotechnology. They will deepen their skills in analysing big amounts of data and in extracting the most valuable pieces of information.
    Students will also understand the fundamentals of machine learning methods and acquire significant hands on experience in applying statistical methods.
