Learning outcomes of the course unit

After screening and identification of new drug substance the next step in the development of a new drug is the application of the drug substance in a suitable dosage form. Furthermore, the understanding of the effect and distribution of the drug substance in the human body is also an important step in the development.

Course contents

In this course you will learn:

- the basics of Biopharmacy (LADME system)
- dosage form composition
- the different dosage forms and their advantage, disadvantage and application
