    Lectures will be based on the practical experience in Tourism & Hospitality. The academic session on Sustainability in Tourism with a special focus on Community Based Tourism Practices in Kerala will give you an outlook on how the Sustainability is grooming up in a developing country like India. Also the roles of Government and Private entrepreneurs and stakeholders are explained .This session also will aim to give an idea on India as an International Tourist Destination to give a better insight to compare it with a known destination of yours.As Visitor behaviour management is of a growing importance, we will discuss the same briefly during the lectures.There will also be a mention on the cultural heritage conservation through the promotion of the arts & crafts of the regions in Tourism. We will also discuss the aspect of practical sustainability which may vary from region to region.This session will connect Sustainable Tourism with multiple SDGs to understand its practical application resulting in better socio economic results and reduction in Co2 emission

    Lecture on the Human Element in Hospitality is on points which are beyond the academic curriculum in Tourism. The importance of the human skills like Passion, Attitude and Integrity are covered with career experiences of the lecturer. As Tourism operations are always about handling experiences, these stories should give an outlook on the operational aspect of Tourism. Various practical aspects like Crisis management in tourism,multi tasking,importance of networking & teamwork,capacity analysis and customer behaviour etc are discussed.All the lectures are of an interactive nature and expect the students to come up with ideas to share so that the classes will become lively and more productive
