B2L Swarco Raiders Tirol | Wörthersee Piraten

One court, two teams, two baskets, and whoever scores more points wins. The basic rules of the ball game developed by James Naismith in 1891 are incredibly simple, and this fast-paced, athletic US sport is attracting more and more players and spectators in Austria.

Since the 2018/19 season, SWARCO RAIDERS Tirol has had a basketball section that currently offers around 80 sports enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to pursue this exciting sport both locally and throughout Austria.

The men's team has been playing in the second Bundesliga since the 2019/20 season after a successful promotion, and the home games, accompanied by the Raiderettes cheer dancers and cheerleaders, are always worth a visit.

Free admission for MCI students, alumni and employees.
