Terms and Conditions

  • Austrian citizenship
  • Age: born on or after April 2, 1992
  • Graduates and students
  • 6-month language course in Japan (may be waived for English-language degree programs or if the applicant has sufficient knowledge of Japanese)

Pre-selection is conducted by

  • Assessment of foreign language proficiency (English and Japanese) via a written test on July 7, 2026.
  • By an Austrian-Japanese committee during a personal interview on July 7, 2026.
