The Austrian Study Foundation is an initiative of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, established in 2019. It supports and mentors young, committed individuals who think beyond their own field of study and are prepared to take on responsibility. Selection is made regardless of background, gender, religious or political views.

You are in your 1st, 2nd or 3rd semester (not yet completed) at an Austrian university, have a keen interest in science, culture and social development, and are actively involved in your community? Then we are looking forward to receiving your application.

Submit your application documents via our online portal, Onlyfy, between September 15th and November 16th, 2026. If your application is successful, you will be invited to the selection days (February to March 2027), which will include an interview, a pitch and a group discussion.
