    Students acquire a basic understanding of an organization's structure and design in an international environment.

    INCOMING STUDENTS - Innovating at Square One

    The overall goal of this course is to answer the big question “How do I find an innovative business idea that is worth pursuing?” In support of this goal, each student will become proficient in …

    • using the Creative Problem Solving Process to generate an innovative business concept, as evi-denced by the successful completion of the Ideation Team assignments.

    • thinking like a serial entrepreneur to validate a business opportunity as evidenced by the deliv-ery of a professional and evidence-based 5-minute feasibility presentation to a panel of busi-ness professionals.

    • pitching a business idea to potential stakeholders, as evidenced by the delivery of a compelling 90-second “elevator pitch” to the entire class.

    • validating a business concept and thinking like a serial entrepreneur, as evidenced by an evi-dence-based feasibility presentation to a panel of business professionals.
