Analysis and further development of the intranet to improve access to information and internal communication.
THE CHALLENGE
The biggest challenge was bringing together the perspectives of different professional groups and organizational levels. In addition, the analysis of existing structures and communication channels required careful coordination with employees in order to comprehensively capture and evaluate their diverse needs, expectations, and user experiences.
OUTCOMES
The results show that the intranet is a central component of daily work at the “Zum Heiligen Geist” senior living facility and is regularly used to obtain information. At the same time, areas for improvement were identified regarding the findability of documents, the clarity of the structure, the timeliness of content, and the search function. Employees would like a user-friendly, clearly structured, and bilingual intranet with up-to-date information and clearly defined responsibilities. The study thus provides valuable insights for the future development of the quality management system and internal communication.

We greatly appreciate the project team’s structured approach and dedication, as the needs of our employees were comprehensively assessed. Overall, we are very grateful for the collaboration and the valuable insights for the next steps in implementation.
