Extracurricular course “Leadership & Responsibility

Acquiring ECTS Credits by attending the Distinguished Guest Lectures of MCI Alumni & Friends.

Herewith we would like to inform you, that you can acquire additional ECTS credits by attending the "Distinguished Guest Lectures" that are available within the framework of the “MCI Alumni & Friends” series of events.
By offering this opportunity we want to ensure that this, as far as we are aware, unique series of academic lectures receives proper academic recognition.

The guest lectures will form part of an extracurricular course called “Leadership & Responsibility – Case Studies in Business and Society”, and by attending these lectures you can acquire relevant additional certificates (similar to Language Center and Career Center classes).

It is currently envisaged that attendance at 5 academic lectures during one semester will enable you – considering the following conditions - to acquire 0,5 ECTS credit or 10 academic lectures during one semester will enable you – considering the following conditions - to acquire 1 ECTS credit. It will be possible to acquire several ECTS credits in the course of one degree program.

Dependent on the study program, the credits may be counted towards required minimum hours of attendance of defined curricular classes. Please find more information on Sakai or ask the team of your study program.

We trust that this new opportunity will contribute towards making the MCI study programs even more varied and attractive, and we wish you every success and hope you enjoy your time as an MCI student! Please find a preview of the upcoming events HERE.
