Image rights - what do I have to consider?
The use of images, for example in one's own presentation, always gives rise to uncertainties. Am I allowed to use the image at all? Under what conditions? Am I also allowed to edit it? Basically, every image is protected by copyright law (UrhG) and therefore may not be used arbitrarily. The image may only be used under the respective conditions of use if an appropriate license or the consent of the copyright holder(s) is available. The Knowledge Transfer Center West has created a red thread on the topic of image rights that will help you evaluate your images and provide tips for free image material:

Metaverse and Higher Education
The metaverse is a word combination of "meta" (beyond) and "verse" (universe) and is understood as a digital space in which augmented reality (XR) is used. Through the use of augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR), the metaverse offers the potential to become a new learning and experiential space. Using a virtual version of ourselves, we move through digital space as an avatar, meeting and interacting with other people. What sounds like science fiction could be a new way to complete simulated lab exercises, recreate construction projects or take a virtual field trip with your own avatar. What is special about the Metaverse is the focus on social interaction and the feeling of being able to be part of this "new world" yourself.In the following video you will get an overview how Metaverse coulde look like:
