Learning outcomes of the course unit
- The aim of the project is to analyse and optimise business processes to create a sustainable competitive production environment.
Disciplines such as process, lean, logistics and change management are addressed in the context of project and production management and controlling.

- - Independent execution of a reengineering project starting with the project planning up to the fictitious project realization under consideration of given realistic premises
- Formulation of customer requirements and derivation of objectives
- Analysis of the given actual situation and task definition using appropriate methods for process analysis and cost accounting
- Project management and structuring
- Application and consolidation of different project management methods and instruments
- Design of an efficient production process & system under integration of lean principles
- Identification of necessary resources
- Risk and problem analysis
- Teamwork and organization
- Presentation of results by means of presentation and technical report
