Learning outcomes of the course unit
  • The students will know the main technologies for innovative production and components of Industry 4.0 on a global scale. They are able to design use cases in production based on industrial guidelines, operation and information technology drivers, implementation strategies, value creation factors (e.g. products, processes, humans and equipment) and business models in the context of Industry 4.0.

    • Industrial applications and use cases in production (smart devices, smart logistics and smart factory)
    • Business models and product service systems in the context of Industry 4.0 and smart systems
